CAE has signed a deal worth up to C$90 million ($58 million) to supply Southwest Airlines with up to eight full- flight simulators over 15 years. A Boeing 737-700 simulator is set for delivery to the US carrier in mid-2002, with options for up to seven more. CAE will also provide desktop training for flight and ground crews.

Korean Air has signed a memorandum of understanding covering its intent to acquire 20 Boeing 777-9s and 20 787-10s, together with options on 10 more Dreamliners.
US air freight company National Air Cargo has ordered four Boeing 777-200 Freighters, with plans to acquire two of the jets in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the remaining two in the first quarter of 2026.
