Cessna has delivered the 100th Citation Sovereign mid-size business jet since the aircraft entered service in September 2004. The handover to Canadian agricultural supplier Agrium comes two months after the 100th delivery of the CJ3 light jet.
Cessna chairman Jack Pelton says: "According to retail aircraft registration data, Cessna's market share in the mid-size jet category has gone from 15% in 2003, before the Sovereign was available, to 35% in 2005 and 2006. We are already sold out of this model well into 2008."
