The International Space Station crew now have a better view of the station's exterior after the installation of the cupola window and the last major habitable module for the ISS US segment. Both have been delivered by Space Shuttle Endeavour on its penultimate flight. The module Node 3, also known as Tranquility, was built by Italian industry. Last week it was outfitted by ISS and Shuttle crew, with the station's regenerative environmental control and life support, water recovery, waste hygiene compartment and the oxygen generation systems. It is also where crew will operate the ISS robotic arm system once its workstation is moved from Destiny, another US module.
