The first two-seat Eurofighter 2000 powered by Eurojet EJ200 engines - and Spain's first Eurofighter 2000 - takes off at the start of her maiden flight at the CASA flight centre at Getafe, Spain.
The aircraft, designated DA6, made a 55 minute flight, described afterwards as "very satisfactory". Not only is the aircraft the first two-seater, but it will offer improved performance and will test higher angles of attack.
