Non-US nationals wanting to take flight training courses in the USA could get speedier security clearance following a Transportation Security Administration policy change.
Foreign students will be able to have fingerprints taken in their own countries in advance of travel to the USA by approved agencies. At the moment applicants must be fingerprinted in the USA, meaning there can be long delays before students can begin training.
