Surrey Satellite Technology (SSTL) of the UK has signed a launch contract with Russia's Rosvoorouzhenie. A Cosmos M booster will be launched from Plesetsk on 28 June carrying the Tsinghua microsatellite, built by SSTL and Beijing-based Tsinghua university, and SSTL's first nanosatellite, SNAP 1. SNAP 1 will carry advanced micro-miniature global positioning system navigation, computing and attitude control technologies.
