ST Aerospace has secured a seven-year deal to provide aircraft component support for British carrier Flybe, valued at $100 million.
Under the agreement, the MRO firm will provide component support, which includes component exchange, repair, overhaul and modification, as well as reliability monitoring and logistics services for Flybe’s fleet of Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s, says ST Aerospace.
This contract follows an existing agreement previously signed in 2004.
The firm adds this contract is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings of the larger ST Engineering group for the current fiscal year.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows that Flybe operates a fleet of 47 Q400s.
