Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aero) will lose its only wet-lease customer next month, when Biman Bangladesh Airlines returns its two Boeing 737-300s. Biman, which signed up last year as the launch customer for ST Aero's wet-lease service, has decided against renewing its two-aircraft contract as part of an effort to streamline its fleet. The maintenance and modification company added wet-lease services as part of a bid to offer a one-stop service to airlines. Biman plans to replace the 737s with two ex-PB Air Fokker F28s.
