Brussels Airlines is to launch regular services to St Petersburg as part of its summer schedule.
Starting 30 March, the Star Alliance carrier will operate the route thrice weekly.
Frequencies could be increased if there is sufficient demand during the high season, says Bjorn Cornelis, chief of the Belgian carrier's Russian operation.
St Peterburg will become Brussels Airlines' second Russian destination after Moscow, which the operator serves daily.
