Starlite Aviation has become the launch customer for Eurocopter's AS332 C1e, following an order for two of the medium twin-engined helicopters - the latest version of the Super Puma.
Starlite also has an option for a further two C1es - configured to offer shorter lead times and lower operational and maintenance costs, says Eurocopter. Deliveries are scheduled to begin late next year, following European and US certification.
The C1e order is part of a fleet renewal and expansion effort for South African-headquartered Starlite, which already operates a fleet of 10 Pumas for a range of missions, including passenger transportation.
