Saab Aircraft has pulled out of the Asian Aerospace '98 show, citing budgetary constraints. The Swedish builder of the Saab 340 and 2000 is not expected to be present at any major air show next year. The move comes during a period while Saab re-assesses its future in the regional-aircraft market. An announcement on the future strategy is expected early in 1998.
