Three of Indigo Partners' airlines are set to receive Airbus A321XLRs after the investor announced its intention to take 50 units of the new variant.

An MoU signed at Paris air show today covers 32 newly ordered A321XLRs, plus the conversion of 18 existing A320neo-family orders.

Twenty of the A321XLRs will be allocated to Wizz Air, 18 to Frontier Airlines and 12 to JetSmart.

With Volaris included, the four Indigo Partners carriers operate a combined total of 295 Airbus jets, the manufacturer says, and now have 636 units on order.
