UK surface finishing specialist AST Group has won a contract to supply the Royal Air Force with plastic stripping media for paint removal on airframes and aircraft components. AST, the UK distribution agent for abrasives manufacturer Solid-strip of the USA, will supply aerospace grade Type V acrylic media in two mesh sizes.
