Iceland's new low-fare airline is reporting better than expected passenger bookings, following its inaugural flight last month. The carrier, which operates daily Boeing 737-300 services from Keflavík Airport near Reykjavík to Copenhagen and London Stansted, says ticket sales in Denmark and in the UK have exceeded expectations. Iceland Express managing director, Johannes Georgsson, says load factors "are exceeding 90% with more than 35% of bookings from passengers outside Iceland".
