James Smith is named vice-president for business development at components and subsystems supplier Sundstrand, of Rockford, Illinois. David Linton becomes vice-president for programmes. Smith, with Sundstrand for 33 years, replaces Ronald McKenna, who becomes corporate executive vice-president and chief operating officer for aerospace.
