Lufthansa Technik (LHT) and Air France Industries have set up a working group to study whether to offer airlines worldwide component support services for the Airbus A380. LHT says the cost of holding spare parts for the A380 means "no customer wants to establish a component warehouse and it makes sense to have a common one".
