Swedish carrier Swe Fly has signed a component support deal with SAS Component for its new Boeing 767-200ER. Previously best known as a regional operator of Fokker 50 turboprops, the airline is branching out into the long-haul market with services from Stockholm Skavsta to Lahore in Pakistan. The airline has joined the SAS Component Free2Fly programme.

Swe Fly plans to launch flights to Lahore, with feeder connections to Stockholm from London Luton, Oslo and Copenhagen, on 17 June. The carrier is also planning to serve Bangkok with a second 767 later this summer. Further 767s will also be supported under the contract with SAS Component.
