Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration has accepted its first two of 20 A109 light utility helicopters from AgustaWestland, ahead of the type’s scheduled entry into service as the Hkp15A/B on 28 March. Twelve Hkp15As and eight maritime Hkp15Bs will be delivered by 2009 under a deal worth SKr1.4 billion ($180 million).
