Lufthansa and Swiss have dismissed media reports of a potential bid by the German flag carrier for its struggling rival. Lufthansa has made clear in the past that it would be open to talks on a tie-up, but Swiss says no talks have taken place. Swiss announced plans to axe up to 1,000 jobs and 13 regional aircraft last month.
