Swiss air force Boeing F/A-18 fighters arrived in Belgium last week to participate in NATO's Tactical Leadership Programme at Florennes airbase. Switzerland has been steadily increasing its military links following a referendum earlier this year that opened the way for the country's troops to be deployed as armed peacekeepers. Belgian air force Lockheed MartinF-16s have also recently completed some flying training in Switzerland.
