Swissair Group chairman Mario Corti has ruled out providing finance for the restructuring of Belgian flag carrier Sabena. Swissair Group has a 49% stake in Sabena, and has also ruled out increasing this to 85%, as was originally planned. The Belgian Government, which controls 51% of Sabena, is putting pressure on the Swiss to carry on supporting the loss-making carrier.
