Honeywell has signed up Air Esurfing Information Technology (ARE) as the exclusive distributor in China of its next-generation JetWave satellite communications hardware. The deal was signed at Honeywell’s stand in Hall 4 at AIX 2019.
The distribution arrangement will give airlines in China access to an all-in-one solution that enables high-speed inflight wi-fi service. It will also increase the availability of fast, consistent, Ka-band connectivity for passengers flying on Chinese airlines. The JetWave network is dedicated to the Chinese market, and is designed to provide broadband-class data connectivity, giving passengers the same wi-fi experience in the air as they have on the ground.
