Meggitt Polymers & Composites and KID-Systeme are joining the pool of suppliers offering in-flight entertainment and connectivity system for the E-Jet E2 aircraft family, Embraer has disclosed.
KID-Systeme is to provide the SKYfi Club wireless-streaming onboard platform for Embraer's commercial and executive aircraft, says the Brazilian manufacturer.
Meggitt will meanwhile design a tri-band radome assembly for in-flight connectivity, supporting the E2's offering of Ka- and Ku-band internet service. The Meggitt assembly includes a radome, skirt seal, adapter plate and fittings.
Embraer had already confirmed Panasonic Avionics as a provider of in-flight entertainment and connectivity for the E-Jet E2 family.
