Ethiopian Airlines will install Immfly IFE systems on 20 of its aircraft this year.
The carrier says the system will feature proprietary Immfly content and serve as a "digital transformation platform for in-flight e-commerce and onboard connectivity".
Services will be available in Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, English and French, the airline notes.
Aircraft fitted with the IFE system will be deployed across the carrier's entire network.
Cirium's Fleets Analzyer shows that Ethiopian's passenger fleet includes 11 Airbus A350s, 23 Boeing 787s, 10 777s, six 767s, 23 737s – including four stored Max 8s – and 18 Bombardier Q400 turboprops.
