KLM intends to complete a refurbishment programme for the business class section on its Airbus A330 fleet in October 2018.
The Dutch carrier says it installed full-flat business seats and a new in-flight entertainment system on an A330-300 (PH-AKA) and has returned the aircraft to service.
KLM has five A330-300s and eight A330-200s in its fleet
The airline says the A330-300s are to be completed by July 2018, with the last A330-200 set to follow in October that year.
Before refurbishing the Airbus fleet, KLM rolled out the business seats across its Boeing 747s and 777s.
KLM’s 787s were delivered from the manufacturer with that seat.
