Mitsubishi Aircraft's MRJ regional jet has landed at the Le Bourget airport for its airshow debut at Paris.
FTA-3, which has been repainted to showcase launch customer All Nippon Airways' livery, was taken off its flight test schedule to make the close to 48-hour journey.
The aircraft took off from Mitsubishi's Moses Lake flight test centre at 0:38 local time on 13 June and made its way to Paris via Winnipeg and Goose Bay, Canada, and Keflavik. It landed at Le Bourget at 17:05 local time on 15 June.
"It is an honour to showcase the MRJ at the Paris air show," says Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' president and CEO Shunichi Miyanaga. "I can't think of a finer stage on which to present this highly anticipated next-generation aircraft. The European debut of the aircraft is another sign of the progress of this programme."
FTA-3 will be on static display at the show until 21 June.
Mitsubishi is targeting to deliver the first MRJ90 to ANA in mid-2020.
