Turkish Airlines has selected Rockwell Collins as business-class seat supplier for Airbus A321neos and Boeing 737 Max jets.

Rockwell Collins says it has begun initial deliveries of its MiQ business and premium economy seats to Turkish for installation on 92 A321neos and 77 737 Max jets.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the Star Alliance carrier has so far received one A321neo – powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1133G geared turbofans – and one 737 Max 8. It on-order Max jets are split between -8s and -9s, Flight Fleets Analyzer indicates.

Airbus has previously said that Turkish fitted its first A321neo with 20 business- and 162 economy-class seats.

Rockwell Collins vice-president and general manager for interior systems Mark Vaughan states that the MiQ seat's modular design enabled the US manufacturer to "work closely with Turkish Airlines to provide a customised configuration".

Features include seatback IFE screens, retractable privacy panels, personal stowage, and power outlets.

Rockwell Collins acquired interior specialist B/E Aerospace in 2017.
