CMC is bringing its new TacView system to Le Bourget. It is a portable mission display based on CMC’s PilotView electronic flight bag (EFB) aimed at assisting military airborne mission effectiveness by improving real-time situation awareness.
The system and comes with a night-vision imaging system. A tactical data link can be added, as well as portable mission planning, digital moving map, weather imagery, aeronautical charts and targeting pod imaging. Because it is based on PilotView it retains EFB functionality to comply with paperless cockpit requirements for military aircraft.
