TAG Aviation Holding has opened two new global operations to aid a growing client base with business aviation services. A Dubai office, managed by Gulf region native Akbar Siddiqi will support the company's customers in the Middle East with aircraft charter, management, acquisition and brokerage services along with large aircraft completion consulting. A new company in the USA, TAG Aviation Services, will provide aircraft completion management consulting as well as acquisition and brokerage services. TAG Aviation Services, headed by long-time TAG USA employee Jeffrey Weber, is located in San Francisco.

"The large jet acquisition trend is still strong, and we expect continued growth over the next five years," says Weber. "The backlog for OEMs is three to four years out, and large aircraft completion centre slot availability averages two to three years." Current completion projects in the USA include Boeing Business Jets and a "cross-section of large corporate aircraft", the company states.

A key focus for the Dubai office will be to introduce the Middle East to TAG Aviation's aircraft completion management services provided by Weber, according to officials.
