Taiwan has concluded a bilateral air-service agreement with Switzerland, under which Swiss Air Asia will operate three flights a week between Zurich and Taipei from 7 April. It has also signed an agreement with Italy to start twice-weekly flights. China Airlines and privately owned EVA Air are competing for the two European routes.
