Taiwan has taken delivery of its first five Lockheed Martin F-16A/Bs and five Dassault Mirage 2000-5s. The aircraft were handed over to the Taiwan air force in USA and France, says the country's defence minister Chiang Chung-ling. Taiwan has ordered 150 F-16s and 60 Mirage 2000s and expects to commission its first operational squadron this year.
