Taiwanese Patriot missile crews successfully destroyed a 'surrogate' tactical ballistic and a cruise missile target in an operational test yesterday.
"These firings confirm both the Republic of China Army Patriot units and the system's performance during these challenging missions," says Bill Swanson, Raytheon's executive vice-president. "This important mission validates the Patriot as a key component of the ROC's national defence system."
