An Argentine ground transport consortium that operates 10 bus lines and two railroads has taken over Southern Winds. Grupo Plaza, headed by Claudio Cirigliano, has agreed to provide financing and management for the troubled airline. It has not bought the airline shares owned by founder Juan Maggio and his brother.
