Miami-based Aviation Sales Company (H1/C27) is celebrating its 25th anniversary with its first visit to Farnborough.
The spare-parts supply business, which counts British Airways, Lufthansa and United Airlines among its clients, is using the show to announce its acquisition of Bixie Aerospace Bearings, formerly part of Bearings of Cleveland, Ohio.
Says marketing director Grady B Palmer: "Buying Bixie marks the first step in our expansion into new parts distribution.
"It's a new direction for us and what better place to announce it than at Farnborough ‘96."
