British Airways is the launch customer for Honeywell's new version of its TCAS II Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance product, dubbed TCAS 2000, which is scheduled for certification in July 1997.
Honeywell says the new TCAS will support the anticipated growth in Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems in the future air traffic environment.
