Chelton Group company Team has won a contract from Airbus to provide the Radio and Audio Integrated Management System (RAIMS) for its new superjumbo A380, it was announced at the show.

Team says the deal is a "significant technological development" as it is the first time the concept of an integrated system, allowing full control of communications and audio levels in a single control and display unit, has been applied to an Airbus programme.

The A380 RAIMS comprises two audio management units and three to five radio audio integrated management panels.
