South African communications and defence electronics specialist Tellumat has signed a partnering agreement with Thomson-CSF to combine its identification friend or foe (IFF) transponder and cryptographic equipment with Thomson Communications' ground and airborne IFF integrators. Tellumat is supplying Thomson NCS with IFF for four South African warships.
