Eurofighter has chosen British Aerospace Systems and Equipment TERPROM ground proximity warning system for the EF2000. The system will consist of a line-replaceable unit, associated test equipment and map preparation software, and will use the hardware module in production for the RAF's upgraded Tornado GR4. TERPROM provides terrain referenced navigation, terrain following and weapon aiming information.
