Test flights of the first Gulfstream G550 purchased by the Israeli air force have been delayed after one of the aircraft’s wings was damaged as the aircraft was being put on a jig for weighing in an Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) hangar. The damage is “minimal” and first flight was expected to be delayed by around 10 days, says an IAI source.
