Srisook Changdrangsu has taken over as Thai Airways chairman following the resignation of Mahidol Chantrangkurn less than two months after the departure of president Thamnoon Wanglee. The resignation comes after his retirement as permanent secretary at the transport and communications ministry, where Srisook also succeeds him.
