Thai Airways International's cargo arm expects its recently introduced Boeing 777Fs will drive its freight revenue up 30% this year to 24,120 million baht ($745 million). The airline has a block space agreement with Southern Air of the USA, which is operating two 102t-payload 777Fs twice a week between Bangkok and Frankfurt, and once a week between Bangkok and Amsterdam via Hong Kong on the outbound leg. The Thai flag carrier held an official anointing ceremony for the new 777Fs at the end of April when it marked the opening of Thai Cargo's new cold storage facility at its Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International airport freight terminal.
