THAI AIRWAYS International has ordered two full-flight simulators from Thomson Training & Simulation (TTS), for the Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 777-200. The Level D simulators will be delivered to Thai's new Bangkok training centre at the end of 1997 and the beginning of 1998.

Visual systems for the A330 and 777 simulators have not been announced. Thai operates eight A330s, with four on option, and plans to have 14 777s in service by the year 2000, says TTS. The airline operates five simulators, all produced by companies which now form TTS, the company says.
