Thai turbulence

Some 50 passengers and crew on a Thai Airways International flight approaching Hong Kong suffered head and spinal injuries when one of the airline's MD-11s encountered severe turbulence at 14,750ft (4,600m). Turbulence also rocked a Cathay Pacific Lockheed TriStar. A woman broke her leg.
