Turkish Airlines (THY) has entered into a freesale codeshare agreement with Thai Airways International on flights to and from Bangkok.
The deal allows the partners to market selected flights using their own code and flight numbers on a free sale basis within the scope of the codeshare agreement, said THY.
Under the contract, Thai will place its code on THY operated flights between Istanbul and Bangkok.
In return, The Turkish carrier will place its code on Thai operated flights from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
The commencement of the codeshare flights is subject to approval by the civil aviation authorities of relevant countries, added THY.
