Thales has been selected to provide radios to the US forces under the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTSR) Cluster 5 programme. More than 122,000 radios could be supplied in a contract estimated to be worth £295 million ($546 million). Thales has already supplied 30,000 radios to the US and allied nations.
