Thales revenues up following acquisitions Results Thales has posted improved revenues for the first half of this year as a succession of acquisitions make their mark. The company's revenue was up 31.5% to f4.3 billion ($3.9 billion) during the first half to 30 June, attributable it says to consolidation of UK defence electronics company Racal and optronics specialist Avimo, as well as 50%-owned Thales Samsung. These three contributed more than f800 million. Aerospace revenue showed improvement, up 19% or 10.5% taking into account exchange rates, with avionics, training and simulation all growing. Thales' defence sector reported 21% growth.
