The Dutch can't be separated from their fresh herring, cheese and Dutch beers for too long!

That is why the Netherlands Aerospace Group is treating its visitors to a special 'Dutch hour', which takes place every day at 16:00 in their special lounge area (Hall 3, Stand B5).

Wim van Beinum, managing director of Netherlands-based Nedtech Engineering, and his colleague Eric van Teesing, head of structural mechanics, are also celebrating the formation of a new company, Synited, together with German-based Bishop, P3 Digital and 3dConTech.

Synited is the answer to Airbus' new supplier strategy. "Nedtech was too small to continue being a supplier to Airbus," van Beinum explains. "By joining forces, we have created an engineering team that is capable of performing single-handedly large aircraft design packages of integrated components."

Excellent

By taking on large engineering packages for Airbus, Synited reduces Airbus' overhead cost, by managing and controlling the work inside the team.

In the past years, the companies now participating in Synited have provided excellent engineering services to Airbus for the A380, A340 and A400M.

Airbus Germany has already earmarked Synited as a "possible strategic supplier".
