“It’s a jungle in here, and that includes our competitors,” says Jean-Claude Carayol, deputy sales and marketing director, Alkan (Hall 2B, i11). “This is our third Paris and we felt that we wanted to do something different, and with the current industry focus on going green, here we are.”

Alkan’s focus is on pylons and ejectors for various weaponry, as well as supplying associated store management systems. It also supplies a range of products for programming support and ground support equipment, and has products for a variety of platforms ranging in size from the Tucano to the A400M.
It will supply the air-to-air refuelling pylon for the A400M. It already supplies ejector pylons for the Westland Super Lynx helicopter as well as pylons for the Mirage 2000 and Mirage F1.

It currently has its products in service in more than 35 countries and mounted on more than 50 different platforms, both military and commercial.
“We have an adapted solution to all weapon carriage problems and control units for store management systems.
“We are promoting our abilities for carriage and the man-machine interface,” says Carayol.
