Flight planning and aero-information specialist SkyTrak, of Twickenham, London, has won UK National Air Traffic Service approval for flight plans to be filed direct to destination airports and Eurocontrol, using the company's SkyFile flight processing system. This will allow UK flight clearance centres to be by-passed, which, says SkyTrack chairman Christopher Hilling, offers operators "...a considerable commercial advantage".
