Strategic Technologies (STI) is at the show promoting one of its key products, the LGH2000, which it hopes will take the strain out of landing gear hydraulic lift operations.
STI says the LGH2000 replaces the time-consuming and labour-intensive method of performing landing gear and strut seal changes.
The tool is designed for twin axle aircraft such as the Boeing 747, 757, and 767, plus the Airbus A300 family. It adds that in tests with a major airline, the product achieved a 50% reduction in man-hours, resulting in significant financial savings and the return of the aircraft more quickly to ‘flight-ready' status.
